Common Fishing Department Questions
- Do you carry live bait year-round?
- Yes. Shiners, crawlers, shad, and nightcrawlers are in the cooler daily. Wax worms, spikes, and mousies during ice season. Call ahead to confirm specific bait if you are driving in from out of town.
- Do you do custom rod builds or rod repair?
- We carry the full St. Croix, G. Loomis, and Dobyns lineups so we'll typically have what you're looking for off the wall. For broken rods, we handle warranty processing for most major brands. Custom builds are arranged through our pro staff — call the counter to discuss.
- What ice fishing brands do you carry?
- Vexilar, Marcum, and Humminbird flashers and ice electronics. Plus a full line of ice rods, jigs, tip-ups, shanties, bibs, and boots. Live bait coolers stocked through the season.
- How big is the fly shop?
- Largest fly selection in the area — Sage, Redington, St. Croix, Cortland rods and reels; full line of fly tying materials, leaders, tippets, and a deep wall of pre-tied flies. Bring questions; our staff ties.
