Most people fish Indian for bluegills and largemouth. The walleye are the sleeper bite. Right now after dark on the north basin you can put together a real limit of 16–22 inch fish.

Cast parallel to the deep weed edge in 8–12 feet of water. Stickbait, slow retrieve, very long pauses. Most strikes come on the pause or the first crank after.

Best window is 9:30pm to 1am. Light wind helps — dead calm and the fish get spooky. Mid-night cooler temps and the bite gets even more aggressive.

Public access on the north end is open and lit. Easy launch.
